FIRST LIGHTTapeFly's fruit-fly brain essay and TapeMonkey's FIRST LIGHT concept film
A community member's roundup of the TapeOut timeline flagged two developments: TapeFly published a long-form article laying out the path from a fruit-fly brain built from 50 NAND gates to an arena and to TapeEarth, an on-chain Earth; TapeMonkey meanwhile released a second concept film, FIRST LIGHT, still labeled In development and focused first on building out its world. The roundup described these as recent output from people who are actually building.
