BEM Domains: Free Renewals, Two-Year Cap
BEMDomains responded to community questions about the two-year limit on .BEM domains, explaining that renewals are currently completely free and that the two-year cap is meant to prevent resource waste: without a cap, users could renew for decades at no cost while leaving names idle, blocking quality names from circulating. The team pledged to keep renewals free over the long term, aiming to let users hold .BEM domains at low cost without burden and support the TapeOut and DeWEB ecosystems.
