TapeOutWorld 科普:链上 CPU 时钟与容器机制TapeOutWorld: on-chain CPU clock and containers
TapeOutWorld published a series of explainer posts on the on-chain CPU: a Processor's clock is driven by BNB Chain block production, advancing one clock cycle per new block, and the current 0.45-second block interval corresponds to 2.22 Hz. Circuits are named like 4246.0.tape, where the first part is the circuit number and the second the Processor number, with an area code added on other chains. Every Circuit is bound to an ERC-6551 container account whose address is derived from the chain, the Processor contract and the circuit number, and the container plus its payment record travel with the Circuit when it changes hands. Already taped-out Circuits can be dragged onto the canvas as reusable black boxes, with each drawn wire being an on-chain pointer assignment. Anyone can deploy their own Processor via the factory contract and decide its transistor count, and a taped-out Circuit simply waits on chain to be called as a read-only query needing no wallet or transaction.

Once a Circuit is taped out, it waits On Chain to be called A call is a read only query, no wallet connection needed and no transaction created A webpage, a terminal command or a block explorer can all call it Contracts on BNB Chain can also use it as part of their own logic A Circuit cannot call o

Anyone can deploy their own Processor through TapeOut's factory contract Once deployed, it is a blank piece of silicon The first decision is how many transistors this Processor will have The Intel 4004 had 2300, the 1993 Pentium had 3.1 million, the Apple M1 has 16 billion Every Processor deployed

Where an On Chain CPU gets its clock? An On Chain CPU gets its clock from BNB Chain block production With every new block, the Processor moves forward one clock cycle The current block interval is 0.45 seconds, a clock frequency of 2.22 Hz It is driven by validator consensus and needs no power plu

Building Circuits on TapeOut does not mean starting from zero every time Any Circuit already taped out, yours or a stranger's, can be dragged onto the canvas as a black box Drawing a wire on the canvas corresponds to a pointer assignment On Chain Small Circuits form larger Circuits, and larger Circ

Every Circuit is bound to an ERC 6551 account, its Container One Container is one website and also one messaging endpoint Its address is derived from the chain, the Processor contract and the Circuit number When a Circuit changes hands, the Container and its payment record go with it The new holder

The name 4246.0.tape reads from left to right 4246 is the Circuit number, 0 is the Processor number, .tape is the suffix Every Processor numbers its Circuits from 1, so a Circuit number alone is not enough and the Processor number is added Chains other than BNB Chain add an area code, for example 1
