Community proposes TapeOut Name Service to replace numeric coordinates
Community member longsun5991 proposed a TapeOut Name Service (TNS) that maps human-readable names to circuit container coordinates. DeWeb sites are currently reached via numeric coordinates such as 4246.0 or #4246@0, which people cannot remember, much like the early internet where only IP addresses worked. TNS would map names such as ai.tape → 4246.0.tape (BSC), letting on-chain AI terminals, DeFi projects and brand sites be reached by domain name instead of random numbers.
