On the hashrate leaderboard, the No. 1 is a super-whale who entered late rather than an early miner, running 36 machines to take 26 "optimal" slots, mostly Behemoth-based. An optimal machine's hashrate is roughly 10x a normal rig, using transistors bought purely on the market. 93bitmap concludes there is no early-miner advantage, and anyone with capital, compute and design skill can enter at any time.
